Containments

After water damage has happened, there are a few different phases and one of those may be needing to contain the affected area. The containment and drying phases happen simultaneously. While drying out the home, wet areas are taped off in order to concentrate the heat and suction to the rooms that need to be dried out. Containment is critical as it enables the work crew to maintain the environment of the room and dry the home as quickly and efficiently as possible. This is a great example of how containments work as you can see the dining room is an open floor lay out so the containment will help with the drying process.
